Play Areas

The wide variety of play area surfaces that we specialise in can range between many different purposes for children of all ages at nurseries, schools and public recreational parks. One of the most common NBS surface specifications that is chosen by clients in the UK is wet pour rubber safety flooring.

This consists of two layers of rubber: an SBR base layer which acts as a shock pad for safety, and an EPDM wearing course layer which gives the surfacing its colour. Many different design options are available with wet pour play-area surfaces. We can also create bespoke colour schemes and graphics for each playground surfacing project.
