Having received feedback about the problems our gravel paths poses for wheelchairs, we chose JDMA to replace some of our paths with permeable block paving.

The initial site visit from JDMA to advise and quote for the work was thorough and  very informative. The communication from their office before and after this was swift and responsive. Once we'd decided to go ahead with the work they'd quoted for, we were able to get the work booked in much sooner than I'd anticipated.

The work was completed on time, to a high standard, in a tight time schedule by a site crew who worked very hard, knew exactly what they were doing, communicated clearly about anything that arose during the work, were considerate, friendly, and clearly enjoyed themselves whilst they worked. They did a great tidy up at the end of the work too.

The end result is simply fantastic. We wanted a surface that would support those with accessibility and mobility needs, whilst working well with period buildings, I personally didn't realise just how good it would look, it's completely transformed our courtyard. It's also got rid of all the puddles that would form after heavy rain.

As a  charity we had to fundraise to enable this work to happen, so it's important that our donors are confident that we make good use of their generosity; I'm happy to say that the feedback has been universally positive.

JDMA installed our patio and driveway about 3 years ago, and they've just been back to install an additional path for us. We're very happy with everything - Joe and his team are very professional and fantastic to work with. Plus they come up with some great ideas too! I've used JDMA paving twice now - once in March 2022 to build a new patio in my back garden, and again in December 2023 to refurbish my driveway. For the patio, they turned my rather unsightly, uneven, gravel-filled patio into a lovely porcelain-paved outdoor living area where I was proud to invite and entertain friends and family. Recently, they also turned a cracked and crumbling mixture of concrete and gravel into a lovely brick weave driveway, adding a new fence and front doorsteps. Both times, I've been so impressed with the professional approach, knowledge, and attention to detail that JDMA have taken. Down to the recommendation of what material to use, to cutting each patio slab and driveway brick so that it fitted perfectly into place. I’m really happy with the work JDMA have done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
